  • Registered a few, thanks OP.

  • Can I ask which one of your cards has the most offers?

    • +2

I have a CPA and a CA. CPA one has most and I use mostly :)

      • May I ask are u graduated from both CA and CPA?? Just curious people usually just do one! I am interested in how to get both cards :p

        • -8

It is not real free as you will end up investing thousands of dollars in CPA/CA. So just intend getting a free annual fee AMEX card through this route isn't a bargain anymore

        • It isn't a free annual fee, discounted.

I dont' know how powergirl has both a CA /CPA as it is really unconventional if he/she had both CA and CPA designation, it's kinda like doing two engineering courses (bachelors) at two diff universities, nothing wrong, but not really done for obvious reasons.

The CA card (just got one) gives you free domestic flights. which i plan to use for a winter mt buller/melb trip, which by my virgin estimates would be $400-500 return. so for a $150 annual card fee - pretty decent IMO! :)

        • i have both as well. just because you have both card does not mean you graduated from both.
i got my CPA one as a student member, but when i got admitted as a CA, i got a CA one as well.
i use one for an annual domestic trip and the other for a international trip.

How is accounting related to cards?

  • Are there direct links to the offers?

  • +2

No direct link, you will need to log into your AMEX profile and then click on the 'Offers & Places' tab.

I also have 2 cards, one main/one cosign. However these offers only appears under the main account's profile, cannot be added onto my cosign card.

    • You can if your supp registers for online access.

      • +4

I have a supplementary card registered for online access and it still has 'There are currently no new offers available for this Card.'.

Looks like these offers are valid for the main cards only.

        • +2

Same here, nothing for supplementary card :(

    • Yeah, same here. I think they've cottoned onto the fact that people double dip, so they must have enabled a rule to prevent offers from appearing for supps.

      • Oddly, they specify this though:

Supplementary Cards qualify as an Eligible Card only if the Card is saved for the offer separately.

    • +1

I managed to register multiple main and supplementary card by using one profile and just keep pressing back once you're on the confirmation page.
Got confirmation for the registration of all the cards through email.

      Try this link https://enroll.amexnetwork.com/AU/en/DanMurphys/

  • Can't find the iTunes one on my account. :(

    • me either

  • I have a commbank amex and couldn't log in. Might be out of luck for bank issued cards.

  • +2

Can't register with my Westpac issued AMEX either.

  • Anyone have the direct link to the Telstra offer?

  • Thanks OP. I don't see the telstra nor itunes.
    :(

    • I have the iTunes offer but not sure how to get the link to share it.

    • Same here all offers showing except itunes

  • I can't see Telstra offer either..

  • +1

only for amex issues cards… can't find these offers in amex connect for bank issued cards.. :(

  • Can one buy Wish gift cards from Dan Murphys?

    • don't think so.

My BMW Gold card had all these offers. Cheers OP!

  • +3

too bad only for amex issued card only…

    We're sorry.
This Card is issued and serviced by COMMONWEALTH BANK OF AUSTRALIA ; and, therefore, cannot be registered on this site. The American Express Blue Box on the card signifies the card is accepted at all American Express merchant locations.

    • +1

go to amexconnect.com.au for bank issued cards

      • Amex connect only has the Dan Murphy's deal…
"Spend $15 or more at Dan Murphy's before 30 April 2014 and receive one $5 credit"

      • nothing really good on amexconnect anymore since this

        • I liked the Westfield spend $50 and get $10 back and David Jones spend $200/250 and get $50 back type offers (FYI there were two separate offers on that one).

  • Dammit got the Telstra offer but not the optus one I need!

    • +1

i got the optus but want telstra :(

    • +1

I think that's the idea. They want you to sign up to a new telco.

    • +1

Yes I am having both Telstra and Optus offers, but I hold no account with them.

      • I have Optus but not Telstra. I want the Telstra offer. Im not switching Telco!

    • Have the Telstra and Optus offers but no connection to either. Using Platinum reserve card. http://www.perthhacks.com/2010/10/old-cacpa-platinum-is-new-…

  • Dang, DJ card, only optus, I want teds!

    • +1

I heard DJ staff said you can you go DSE section in DJ to use the DJ gift cards there.

      • Correct.
Equated to 20% off ALL Apple products with the DJ offer at Xmas.

      • As DJs staff, that's correct. We can now get staff discount on iTunes cards unlike pre-Dick Smith times! :)

    • I have a DJs storecard which I can't use anywhere outside of David Jones but I got an iTunes offer. ???????????????

      • Their storecard is still managed by AMEX.

Source: I used to work there.

        • +1

I know that. As current DJs staff, I'm expected to know that. I just find it weird that I got the iTunes offer since I can't use my storecard on iTunes (I tried using it at Woolworths Hornsby for kicks once and got asked by the fraud department as to why it was used there …)

  • +1

does itunes means App store too.

    • Yeah wonder if it counts too. T&C did not mention…

    • Yes

  • I'm not an optus or telstra user. How can I get the maximum benefit from those 2 offers?

    • +8

Ignore them and leave the chance to other OZBers, unless you was already planning to sign up with one of them.

  • Any smart non existing telstra or optus customer has any idea how to earn $50 by paying through once off direct debit? E.g. setup dd for a new prepaid data or mobile phone SIM and recharge $10?

  • Thanks OP!!!! Got TGG and iTunes.

  • +1

For those couldn't see all offers, have you click "show more" at the bottom?

  • Which Amex cards are you guys using? Been looking for one without annual fee. There is none. Just want best value for it.
    Cheers

    • Can't use for iTunes card. So what I can buy from iTunes?

    iTunes terms

Card Members must register by saving this offer to this Card and spend $10 or more on their registered Card at iTunes, in one or more transactions, between 1st April 2014 and 30th April 2014 to receive a $10 statement credit.
Participation is limited to the first 10,000 Cards to register.
Purchases made through resellers are excluded.
Offer excludes: iTunes Gift Card products.

    • music, tv shows, movies or apps

    • Offer excludes: iTunes Gift Card products

Does that mean this workaround wouldn't work?

  • has anyone had any luck with the westpac earth black amex?

  • Based on the reference to 'in-store' I assume the TGG offer doesn't include purchases on TGG website?

  • They only showed one at a time for my Gold AMEX- had to accept, and then after accepted, the next one came up. Might just be an iPhone app thing.

EDIT: Didn't get the iTunes or Telstra one :( Must be all gone? Or maybe I'm not eligible because I already have iTunes set up on my AMEX and Telstra DD.

  • Nice work OP

  • good stuff. thanks OP

  • does anyone have individual direct link to any offers as my one account shows all the offers but other shows none? Both Amex Amex cards

  • +4

I have two AMEX issued cards but one has less offers available.

    That's weird

I also have two AMEX issued cards but one has more offers available.

    • I have none of the above stated offer. Damn. I have never missed any offers like these before. Anyone know what might be the reason?

  • If you use the iphone app, open offers under the settings in the top right then let it load, then go back and look at your transactions, in amongst those transactions, add the offers you want.
Then go back to offers and more have loaded up!
I couldnt see quicksilver or teds or itunes, but after doing this, they appeared on both my cards!

    • not working
      - how to
add the offers you want. among your transactions

      • Amongst your transactions is a selective list of your available offers, press on one and then accept the offer.

  • As Adaman wrote above Quiksilver Amex offer Spend $100 or more, get $30 credit on your next amex statement.

On top of that promo code 'thirty' from yesterday's post https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/138591 still works this morning which is an additional 30% off your purchase. Double whammy. And yes I'm going back to TGG. Love that store.

    • Yeah that 30%off TGG ebay store was your post. Nice one.

  • +1

    Love Amex card!

  • How do you get to the offers without logging in?
i.e. where you can rego your cards? (like supplementary cards & bank issued ones)

  • +9

The Dan Murphy's offer is available for Bank issued cards

    • +1

      Thanks for the updates ;)

    • +1

  • +3

Can someone pls post link to Spend $250 or more at TGG by 31 May 2014 and get $50 statement credit. (Limit first 2,000)

    • I'm looking for this too

    • my bad nvm

  • How do I know I'm among the first, e.g., 2,000?

EDIT: I guess it's the first 2,000 to SAVE the offer. Fair enough.

  • TGG Offer exclude gift cards

    • +3

They always say that, it's almost like a standard set of T&C's.

It's been tried and tested with gift cards whether that be from Target, David Jones, Liquiorland etc they still pay up.

      • It's been tried and tested with gift cards whether that be from Target, David Jones, Liquiorland etc they still pay up.

Do you think this applies to this condition then?

  • +1

Weird I cant see optus & telstra offer damm!!

  • No offer for supp. cards

  • iTunes gone?

  • +2

Any direct link for Telstra offer? Thanks
