    The feed in cable of these lights are so small and poorly insulated, hazardous in every way at 220V. I'm sure this does not conform to Aust standards…

      if these are anything like the 240v led xmas lights i got, i would highly recommend everyone not to go anywhere near them.

      i got shocked twice, lucky for me im kinda used to it (work related) but if one with a weak heart etc you'd be fked.

      Sounds like some colour changing LED strip lights I bought from Ebay year before last. The plug connector with adapter was so bad I felt endangered just looking at it. Ended up using a lot of electrical tape to provide a degree of better insulation.
