      Just mentioning it's a 4G modem not 4gb.

      4G = Fourth Generation (mobile telecommunications technology)
      4GB = Four Gigabytes (data/storage)

  • Pretty good value for 4g modem, nice to see them coming down in price. I am using a second phone to tether for 4g, but then that cost less at the time than 4g modems, and offers other uses.

  • What's the point of 4G when the data allowance is so miserly?

    • For me I use it on unmetered services a lot, like streaming nrl games etc., but my home adsl2 connection isn't that fast, if I had a decent home connection than it wouldn't find it as useful. Still though you can get 3 gb of for $10 when on special, which is quite useful.
