Good find! Also worth noting that on the same page it says SA has a rebate too though the amount is unknown and the criteria vague.

For those wondering, this device comes with a waterproof pendant for seniors to wear (similar to a personal panic alarm) but when the button is pressed it communicates to the base station which is hooked up to the home phone line and dials upto 5 numbers in sequence until the phone is answered. Great peace of mind for when they are living by themselves.

I bought one for my grandma and it works really well. Website has good info and an animation to explain. Setup can be tricky for older folks so I'd recommend setting up yourself or using their technician service which is around $49.

Wish it was Vic as well. This is a great deal.

  • In ACT, they are subsidised after a Duo (Home Help) assessment.
