Rang Amex today to query something and on a very unrelated note, Aussie (surprisingly) rep told me about this.
Could be good if you are happening to go there anyway for a night out.

I think Nobu is way overrated but could be good for birthday as they give you free cake and champagne if you have crown signature membership card. Would recommend 3 course lunch/pre-theatre menu for $60 at No 8.
Haven't been to Silks so I am thinking of going using this offer. Anyone tried?

    Thanks for he heads up. Added Nobu and No 8. I usually go to No 8 with my Entertainment card but I already used that up and Nubo is no longer with the Entertainment Book since the current 2013-2014 year so I haven't been in a while.

    As an FYI for people who have never linked their TripAdvisor accounts to the AmEx system, it is relatively easy but just don't do what I did and forget to ADD THE OFFER to the account.

    Awesome, Nobu is good but its a pity its not in this year's ent book anymore as there are better options for the price. Haven't tried No.8 yet.

    I'm a bit peeved that Crown restaurants now charge a surcharge for all credit card use (1.5% from memory) So the $20 pretty much just goes to offsetting that, +/- a tip. Otherwise a good deal

      Yeah agree 100% about 1.65% cc charge.
      But not just crown but all sofitel and hilton do it as well.

        Annoying but I also like how I get 5% back via points in my Crown Sugnature card to offset this (if I use my CC).
