  • how much do you usually charge or is this your standard pricing always?

  • $50 carpet steam cleaning for 3 rooms seems like a great deal. Do you offer guarantees for rental moving-out cleaning? I know most renters would want this.

$60 house cleaning - how many rooms are we talking? Do your cleaners have police certs etc? Most local ladies who offer cleaning services tend to have this and offer approx. the same rates you're quoting.

  • Is there a location or are you Australia Wide? Vic Metro? Sydney Metro?

More info on what a $60 entails would be good too, is that only available if you live next door and have a 1 bedroom 1 bath granny flat or is that for a unit under 15sq/m?

  • Hello and thank you for the responses.

Nosdan - We will occasionally offer deals such as these but our standard pricing is slightly higher. For example the "Comprehensive Basic" cleaning designed as a regular clean for a 1/2 bedroom house or apartment may take 3 hours at $30 per hour, equating to $90. In this case, we are offering it for $60. Likewise, steam cleaning is normally $20 per room ($60 for 3 rooms).

Wintergirl - Regarding the guarantee, yes we offer this. We provide a comprehensive checklist to the customer for sign off at the end of the clean and ask that you inspect the job for your satisfaction. Additionally, if there are extra landlord specified requirements, we are happy to include those as well.

The $60 house clean as mentioned above is designed for a 1/2 bedroom house/apartment. Typically this equates to 1/2 bedrooms, bathroom, laundry, kitchen and lounge/dining. We provide expert cleaners at a similar price of local contractors like you mentioned. We aim to give our customers quality and peace of mind by providing:
    - End of clean checklist to be signed by the customer
    - Cleaners who have submitted police checks and are insured for any damage or theft
    - Cleaners with 5+ years of experience
    - Use of our own products and equipment

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks
    Brad

    • Hi Brad

The last time I rented, I went with a company who offered "guaranteed acceptance" by the rental agents, ie if the agent wasn't happy, the cleaners would come back and work till the agents were happy. Although it cost a lot more than what you're quoting, this gave me great peace of mind.

      Do you offer this?

      • Hi Wintergirl,

The $60 full house clean mentioned in the original post is for our standard clean called a 'Comprehensive Basic'. Perhaps it would have been best to clarify this in the post and we will keep that in mind for next time.

We do offer a guarantee as you have mentioned, and of course the price will vary accordingly.

For example, for end of lease clean and carpet steam cleaning of a property of similar proportions as mentioned above, the price is $180. There are additional services offered in that clean, and of course that adds to the time required to complete the work.

We of course aim to tailor the quote to meet the specific needs of the customer, so there is generally some variance in these quotes.

        Thanks
        Brad

  • Hi All,

Forgot to add - we are Vic Metro based.

    Thanks
    Brad

  • I asked for a quote from Squeaky Clean about a month ago and it was conveniently IGNORED! I went with House Proud Cleaning and fantastic service. I'm very happy.

    • Hi silver_libran,

My apologies for the ignored quote request. Clearly something not quite right as myself and my administration assistant do not recall this happening.

Obviously this is not something that I am happy about. As such, if you were to ever choose our services in the future we would be happy to provide you with an additional discount for the inconvenience caused.

      Thank you
      Brad

      • I used your website to request a quote. Anyway, I'll try next time around. Thanks.

  • Dear Rep, how much for 4 Bed rooms, 2 Bath rooms and one rumpus.

    • Hi smarter_fool,

Are you after the 'Comprehensive Basic' Clean? I expect the price to be approximately $90 discount inclusive, however would need to confirm your exact requirements.

      Thanks
      Brad

  • +1

While we're on the topic, does anyone have any recommendations for these services in Sydney?

    • No specific recommendations, but if you visit local stores (fruit and veg, milk bar, etc) there's often a noticeboard with local ads. Cleaners sometimes post ads. They've usually got reasonable rates, and are friendly local people who operate on good word-of-mouth and will get a police check for you.

Of course, the trouble with hiring an individual is that they may vary wildly in terms of service quality, whereas with a company there's usually a standard level. But this method has worked out for me in the past.

Put a 'For Lease" sign up on my house a month ago and have had about 30 different companies posting me their flyers for "End of Lease" cleaning. Only thing is… It's my house, so it is as it is!
There's a recommendation for you Brad, if you don't already do it… Jump on Realestate.com and post shit to every person listing!
