    This is a great price for a 3D Smart Plasma
    However, Add another $100+ for each extra pair of (Active Shutter) glasses
    Unless you want to watch 3D on your own ;-)

      they didn't. they refused to price match….here the email.

    I have the model before this, the 50PM6700, it is an amazing TV for the price! Being a plasma, the blacks are beautiful and the picture this TV can put out is stunning. This model here is exactly the same as the PM6700 which I got for $649 about a year ago.

    3D looks great, but it's active not passive so can be a bit headache inducing. Glass is glossy, so make sure it's not in a crazy bright place, the darker the better.

    One of the best things I found with this LG model was the amazing digital tv picture. It puts LCD/LED to shame for standard def pictures, even on 50" they look great. Of course it's nothing compared to the FHD this thing can do.

    So if you're after a TV with excellent picture for a great price, this would have to be a solid option, as long as, of course, you don't have it in a super bright living room.

    edit: oh, the power consumption on these new plasmas is no where near where they used to be. I think on average it's about $20 per YEAR more to run these than an LED/LCD model, hour for hour.

    Mine was delivered yesterday. Seems good. It works, looks good, even sounds better than I expected. It's a TV - so not much else to say. It's much better than my old "HD compatible" plasma..
    It updated it's firmware happily once on the net too.

    ordered on 20/02/14, wait until 25/02/14, still saying "processing", contacted them said it is dispatched that day and I will receive email with tracking NO. Wait until today still nothing, contacted them just now, gave me a tracking ID. Checked with Courier (Allied Express) shows dispatched on 21/02/14 and delivered on 24/02/14! Called Allied and they said the item is waiting for address check and told me the address - this is not my address! Contacted Bing Lee again and they said will investigate.

    So far, their website still shows order is "processing", no further emails since the order confirmation.

    First experience with Bing Lee - BAD!

    Mine arrived on Saturday. Set-up and so far very happy. Upgrading from a 42" Panasonic Plasma.

    Picture is great, Timeshift works fine with the 2.5" external HDD I plugged in. Also got Plex App working fine as well.
