I've been shopping with Suntrom / Budget PC since 2001 and have no complaints. Come across this today on their front page - and it looks like a pretty good price compared to the competition. I'll be picking up one myself as I have a spare IDE HDD lying around. $39.00 is the price on the web, you'll have to add your shipping - I suppose you can pick it up in Mt Waverley as well (assuming you can order this in store).

Just a word of warning that it is IDE only and supports 100Mbps only (not Gigabit). Otherwise, suitable if you want a cheap Network Storage Drive caddy.

        Impressive, considering I was unaware any manufacturers ever made 1TB PATA HDDs. And even if they did, they were hardly wide release and were never ~$110…

          if i had a spare 500GB HDD lying around, then yeah go for it, otherwise you might want to reconsider.
