Both Star Command and FTL were initially funded on Kickstarter, and Star Command's Kickstarter campaign actually predates FTL by half a year.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/64409699/ftl-faster-tha…Star Command went through quite a bit of controversy though - lots of features promised during kickstarter that just never came.
Excellent game got it via the Humble bundle hope they make it longer as it's a bit short.
Yep, it is a bit short. But the 1st playthrough seems to have really been meant to be just a tutorial. In the subsequest playthroughs, the difficulty is ramped up considerably, its just a shame that everything plays out the same way though. Still the challenge and the micromanagement is there.
Paid full price a few weeks ago and played the shit out of it.
No regrets.
Darn it. Bought it at full price using credits and haven't played it yet! ;-S
This game was Kickstarted but also delayed a lot. Especially the 2nd time around for PC/Mac version.
Massive fan of FTL - keen to give this a try!
Me too, you're aware of the new free update for FTL that is gonna add the new FTL Advanced content aren't you?
Oh my goodness. I was not. But now I am. More hours of my life are about to disappear!
twitch I finally kicked my FTL habit a few months back
This might be a silly question thats been asked before, but when I try to puchase this I get the error 'please check that your billing address and payment method are from a supported country'..
I've bought games and stuff through amazon and also have multiple addresses, australian and american. I cant figure out how to get the appstore to work on my nexus 7. Any help would be appreciated.
Can't help with the first part. If you have the right country (eg. US) you should be able to get it from the corresponding store
For the second part here are the steps: https://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000626…
Thanks for the tip, though I've done that part correctly. No idea what my issue is. I'll take it round to a friends place who has had a few android tablets before.
Thanks! The humblebundle one doesn't work with my nexus10. Hopefully this one is the earlier release to use in the interim.
Hmm sounds good,
I'll give it a shot. Thanks Op
What's this, an FTL clone?
