  • Blech, not a fan of the processor… pretty sure that netbooks of this spec can be had at this price or less from the bigger brands, if there's any stock left.

Having said that though, my bro has had a laptop from Pioneer for years and it's never once failed on him, so their build quality is pretty decent.

  • very bad deal.. Asus Netbook 7" can be bought for less than $350 from shops with the cheapest is around $260ish .. why would you go to some unknown brand for close to $400?

  • An exceptionally bad netbook and an exceptionally bad deal.

  • 7" screen would be the killer. I've got one Eee PC with 7" and many apps won't run properly with the 480px height :(

  • I wouldn't touch this for two reasons: (1) it's 800x484 7" LCD and (2) C7 CPU. Consider units below with 8.9/10.1" 1024x600 LCDs and faster/more battery friendly atom cpus, as copied from http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1171893&p… . The 10.1" Acer well worth the extra $93 stretch for a 200% better user experience.

Pioneer should consider selling this for $300 or less to compete against an ASUS 701 that sells that.

  • Pioneer had the worst service I've ever experienced with my last notebook. Sent it in for service, they sent it back scratched to heck, with a broken video card and a slower processor. Two more returns later, and I get a scratched laptop back and decide never to buy from them again.

  • I wouldnt buy this just because it's from dealsdirect. They never have anything good.
