fyi - Sportsbet does free streaming of most NBA games (excluding certain TNT ones, etc). You need to sign up for an account (free) and you don't even need to put any bets on.
The quality is not as good however and you can't full screen it (stuck as a little box). Also you are bombarded by odds. But for me I couldn't justify paying for league pass for the whole season.
If you use a proxy and sign up via ie. Thailand or the Philippines you can probably get it much cheaper, I paid about $100 for the full package back in October, when the local price $270 from memory. I watch nearly all the Warriors games, plus occasionally some others and as many playoff games as I can catch, so it's definitely been worth $100 for me.

Have you been able to view the stream on a phone?
Laptop works fine, but I cant see an option on the mobile site and when viewing the full site on using chrome (Android) the play link doesn't launch the stream.
No, doesn't work on phones as I'm pretty sure it uses flash.
You can watch it live on your mobile through the NBA Game Time App, i just signed up for the free trial and am watching a game now through it. The quality is awesome…just need to sign in to the APP with your league pass login

Did you sign up using the overseas proxy or just through the normal Aussie one?
I just signed up for this with the free trial via an Indian proxy - got the confirmation email saying unsubscribe before Sunday or I'll be charged $74.99US so everythings all good - however I log into my account and there is nothing under My Packages and when I try and watch a game on laptop or AppleTV says I need to subscribe/nothing happens. I tried accessing my account again through the Indian proxy and same thing, nothings coming up under My Packages in my account even though I received the confirmation email.
Has this happened to anyone else? Or do I have to wait a bit before my account is updated?
EDIT: Actually don't worry, just realised it's (probably) because the free trial starts 20/01/14 (US) and it's still only 19/01/14 (18/01/14 over there).
What's the easiest way to find out which country has the cheapest subscription?
