I dont think this is a deal at all.
    No track record.
    No free events on launch.

Pop back in a year when we know its for real.

Lots of promises for $15 but its all blue sky.

Ozbargainers want real proven deals not vague freebies in the future that might not eventuate.

I cant see why you couldnt have even one freebie at launch.

Agree.. Dont promise us freebie in the future and ask for a $15 sub. This is not a bargain. We are getting nothing for $15..

    • Dear Garagesale,

Sorry for the delay in replying to your post.

This is the first time we've listed Freetix on Ozbargain and we were unaware of any concerns regarding the value and validity of our Subscription until I logged in to Ozbargain today to review the statistics related to our offer.

Freetix assists Producers, Promoters, Venues etc to fill any unsold last minute seats or gather audiences for dress rehearsals etc etc. Our ticket allocations are not made public ie; they are only visible to our subscribers upon login, as it's vital to Producers, Promoters, Venues to discreetly fill extra seats to ensure they protect their retail ticket price in the marketplace.

Discreet offers of free tickets via Subscription services is more commonplace in the USA than Australia so we understand and respect you're skepticism; it's prudent these days to question offers and deals.

I hope this helps bring some clarity to what Freetix is about.
Should you have any further concerns we welcome you to call our Melbourne office. Full contact details are available on our website www.freetix.com.au

Not going to sign up unless I can see what you get,
I don't want to sign up to get "Free" tickets to pub bands no-one has heard of.

    • No response from the OP?
Also where are the free tickets to? What areas are covered? OP mentions Melbourne, does that mean only free tickets to Melbourne area? It doesn't mention anything on the site.

    • Dear Bohdans,

Please see our reply to Garagesale above which explains why you can't "see what you get".

We may not be able to announce what is on offer, what I can assure you of is that we do not specialise in offering our Subscribers tickets to unknown pub bands.

The Freetix website will shortly be adding a page revealing some of our previous allocations to provide an example of the calibre of tickets we offer our subscribers.

have to become a member to see the offers?
have to pay to become a member??

    way worse than ozsale……

    • Dear Brongz,

Please see to our reply to Garagesale and Bohdans providing details as to the reason and importance behind our discreet ticket offers.

  • I don't know what's worse… the offer, or the term "audience development company".

I don't want to be farmed.

    • Dear Numbnuts,

Please see to our reply to Garagesale and Bohdans providing details as to the reason and importance behind our discreet ticket offers.

In reply to your concern about the term "audience development company"…..

People are often undecided about whether they would enjoy experiencing something different such as going to the ballet or opera for example. As a result they may not be willing to pay for a ticket to "test the water".
However if they have the opportunity to try it for free, they are more likely to attend and if they do in fact enjoy the performance they may well purchase a ticket to see that type of show again.

Freetix provides it's subscribers with offers of complimentary tickets to encourage them to try something new; which in turn assists in cultivating new audiences for various genres of entertainment.

Our contact details are provided on our website so if you have any further concerns please feel free to call our office.

The seats are probably empty for a reason. I am not paying $15 for the chance to see some delusional hipster art student recite a monologue about how daddy didn't love them.

    • Dear Marcusv,

Please see our reply to Garagesale, Bohdans and Numbnuts explaining how Freetix works and why we offer our subscribers complimentary tickets.

We can assure you that we are not in the business of offering tickets to shows that nobody wants to see.

The tickets offered to our subscribers vary from day to day / week to week and range from a face value of $15 up to $150+ each plus access passes to special events.

The Freetix website will shortly be adding a page revealing some of our previous allocations to provide an example of the calibre of tickets we offer our subscribers.
