    Would of made more sense to stick an APS-C size sensor into this. It is way too bulky. If it had DSLR size sensor and a small fixed prime lens attached, then it would be worth carrying around the extra bulk.

      i think the objective of creating this was to make a phone with a better camera in it, not a camera with a phone in it.

        Agreed, but it looks more like a camera with a phone in it. Sony xperia z1 has 1/2.3 sensor the same size as most compact cameras, and it is a standard phone form factor. I know the lens on this is a super zoom, but a little too bulky for me.

          Agree with you on this. The specs of the phone are hardly worthy of the "S4" name, and are more like a 2011 HTC sensation (dual core, same resolution). I don't understand why it is called an S4.
          Better off buying a mid-range quad-core phone coupled with a Sony QX10.

          That's my problem. I think Samsung is making a big mistake crapping on the S4 label with really low specced phones sharing the name. Internals on this are really weak and it's not exactly cheap (Nexus prices)

          On top of that, (with not much knowledge of Samsung phones) some quick research shows it doesn't even hold up against the S3!

      I was interested in this phone, until I actually held it in my hand. It was bigger than my Canon compact camera.

          wow.. that would be a waste of time TBTH. a lumia would do it, plus maybe one of those fancy snap on 'lens' covers for zoom.

          oh wth. just get a separate S90, it should be cheap as chips nowadays, since it's considered 'old tech'.
