          Lenses are supported with a possible exception of the most recent models. It will ask you to select your lenses after the installation and download the packs. All of mine were available.

    Is this better than Aperture or Adobe Element? Why is it camera specific (ie if I open a jpeg photo from any camera, won't the program load it? Thanks.

    This turns out to be a very good deal too if your camera is not supported and looking to buy version 9, as the upgrade price is much cheaper than buying outright. Upgrade to v9 with their regular promotion is USD 49, while standalone is USD 99.

    They are up to Dxo Optics Pro 9 atm, so this is a very old version. Maybe they want to get you using the software in the hope of upgrading?

    Oh, and the code they send you from this deal cannot be used for an "upgrade" licence, you have to buy the full item.

      On the download page, there is a code for what seems to be a discounted copy of version 9. Dunno if that's a good deal for a legit copy tho.
