I think this was once free on Amazon, but a $14 reduction is still pretty good in my book.
May be a boxing day deal, so get in sooner rather than later.
Person curiosity: Is this still the 'Office-app-to-get' for Android or are there better alternatives? I haven't used this since version 5 or 6.
It was the only real competitor until Google bought it. They stripped all the features from it. The old version is still available on Amazon though. With the free Google one the only documents you can use it for are ones on your device or Google Drive, all the other cloud provider support was removed =(

Just downloaded the free version and when I went to the upgrade, it suggested that the cost was $4.99. Any advice?
Perhaps uninstall and go to Google Play instead?

Kingsoft office is better imho
I've used this a fair bit and love it.
From what I read previously, the only real competitor is (now Googles own) Quick Office.
… However I haven't found any issues with this, so happy to keep recommending it to friends. Thanks for the heads up!
