    Ermm most people in sales do.. and you know what? If I give someone an awesome deal I get paid less too, a lot of people don't realize that. I always look after people on ozbargain, if you have an offer call me ill see if I can match it or do better. Hard times approach us lets do what we can to help each other out.

  My mum wants a mini laptop so I just searched in shopbot for Sony VGNP13GH and found it for $1299.
  I continued my search and searched for Sony VGNCS26GC and found it for $2097; Sony VGNFW33GW for $1598.

  The Sony VGNSR36GNS was $2299 (Which means I save $3 by going to you) and the Sony VGNTT15GNB was $3425 (But there was only one stockist). I wont rate this deal a negative. I might wait for a counter-offer! lol My mum really wants a nice mini laptop! :P

  Not in the same league as last weeks renovation sale in Brisbane but not really neg worthy either.
  If there are new models coming out soon I have a feeling this stock will be still hanging around which will most likely lead to further discounting for these older models.

  @djkizz Checked out the EEEPC 1000HE as an option? Their keyboard is a far lot nicer than some of the older eee's. There have been a couple of decent bargains posted lately for them too.

      For what reasons?
      I've got an eeepc 901 and think its brilliant.

      My friend just picked up the 1000HE a couple of weeks ago and is very happy with his new purchase.

        We've had a few people tell us they're no good. In fact, a man in officeworks told us not to buy the EEEPC because he had one and he wouldn't recommend it as a paperweight. At the moment, Im trying to push her towards the Sony VaioP series, but they are a little exxy for her.

          @djkizz: The P series does have a better processor too. It has a 'Z' Series atom processor with can handle Hyperthreading. Most other netbooks are 'N' series which cannot.
