Big W has a 25% off sale starting online TODAY, and starting in-store on Thursday 26th December.

    I think you'll find that the prices displayed on Big W's website are already 25% off, so it's unlikely to be a further 25% off the advertised price

      I think you'll find that Big-W are legitimate criminals who change the prices of all their items just before the sale starts.
      Although because the online prices are already up they cant do that this time.

      Any reports of the instore starting now ?

        You won't get these prices instore. You can only get the extra $10 off by buying online and getting hit with the $5 delivery fee.

          We got the $10 off online for 2 WiiU games. More than happy there (even though there was a $5 delivery fee). Paid $23 (each in total) for Game Party Champions & Rabbids Land. Seriously, at $23 each who is grumbling.

          Then, getting even wiser still, we ordered a Lego (Star Wars Z-95 Headhunter 75004)that was already on special at $68 and did the click and collect, with that $10 discount, for $58 (postage free). Apparently it will be available to collect about 6th January … will receive an email advising when it is ready to collect.

    Great, just ordered Jurassic Park, paid by Paypal, and then got a big fat server error. So I have a payment from Paypal authorising the payment but none from Big W to confirm the order. Be warned! :(

    Nitro Circus 3D - I watched this in 2D but was unimpressed, then watched it in 3D and thought WOW! My 75 year old Dad watched it with me and was still talking about it two days later!

          DVDs prices change regularly, I see it at jbhifi too. One would wonder why old movies from the 50, 60's should be more than $5 but they are.

          I'm still looking for a reasonably priced set of Indiana Jones Blurays (I don't want number 4, just 1-3) but they are usually too pricey considering I've previously purchased Jurassic Park, Back to the Future trilogies etc for about $16.

          One day they'll probably be in a box set for ~$12-15. Maybe when they release them again remastered in 4k, the bluray will drop in price. Then I'll probably just want to buy it in 4k! I don't buy things now until I know I'm going to watch them immediately - I saw my brother waste THOUSANDS of dollars on 'limited edition' DVD box sets which he's never even opened, paying $35-$50 per box, but now they're worthless and the same movies are selling on Bluray for $8 every time JB Hifi have their regular 2 for $20 plus 20% off sales. If I'll watch it twice a year it's probably worth it, but if it's once in five years then it can wait.

      Not sure how you can neg this deal as a whole based on the price of one item. Big W are effectively giving away free items when you use this code, you just pay shipping if you choose the right items.

    I know this is going to make me sound like a frugal consumer, and luckily I have OzBargain to thank.

    I purchased 5 different DVD's all with individual transactions and applied the coupon. Some I paid just shipping for. Hopefully they honour the purchase via Paypal.

    Also those interested in Breaking Bad
    Seasons 1-4 are $14.25 each
    Season 5- $21
    Final Season- $25.50

    Purchase all of these individually, you get:
    Season 1-4: $9.25 each
    Season 5: $16
    Final Season: $20.50

    Picked up Seinfeld complete series box set for $52.50! This is the cheapest I have ever seen anywhere. It was marked as $84 but scans up at $70 then has 25% off applied to reach $52.50!
