only 1366x768 pixels. You wouldn't want this for general computer use. But good for watching videos.

Get the biggest monitor you can afford; most people keep the monitor longer than their PC.
There're some nice 24" monitors starting around $250, the extra inches and pixels are worth it.(If you have not used a 2nd monitor before, you're going to love it.)
Well I've given this +1 but I don't think you should make posts just to find out if other people think it's a good monitor or not. You've got the OzBargain forums or Whirlpool forums (very active) to give you an idea.
Cheapest on Staticice is $171 + shipping, so it's a good deal. Is it a good monitor? You'll need to read some reviews and do some of your own research to find out.
Based on the specs it looks like a reasonable monitor for the price, it's in the 16:9 aspect ratio so more suited towards DVDs/TV shows than it is for general computing (more wide than it is tall). ASUS brand is reputable and 3 yr wty if I'm not mistaken. Contrast ratio, resolution, inputs all seem in line with the price.
