I disagree, not everyone calls it WOW (in fact I don't know anyone that does), so it's confusing & therefore people could miss the deal. So I suggest dropping the ambiguous WOW abbreviation & changing to Woolworths.
Yeah I don't know why people use WOW. The first time I saw it I went huh? Then I guessed it must be Woolies. Just now I did a search and learn that it's the stock ticker code.
OP, why use such an obscure code? It's only 4 characters shorter than Woolies which everybody understands. If you need to shorten, EDR card is acceptable.
People who use the WOW tag are possibly unaware there was/is another store called this?

WOW is the ASX code for Woolworths so this could be why. Also I've never heard of that other store.
you can probably just grab, scan & then discard a temporary membership card to get this discount rather than joining and giving away all your personal information
just for reference - this deal does not include Coke, Diet Coke or Coke Zero. I know the original poster doesn't claim this, but just in case, I have been confused with this deal in the past which resulted in one unnecessary trip to my local WOW store
In actual fact, i saw this deal on Saturday but they had coke stacked up with it. I didn't look at the paper ticket so had assumed it included coke too. Ended up getting the service counter to check and they saw the mistake and gave me the half price discount for the coke. If i didn't have to walk up a hill already, i would of bought more…
Heads up - last Time this special was on, officeworks changed their prices too - but they accidentally included the coke line as well. keep an eye open, it may happen again…
