£5 off £25 @ Amazon.co.uk

640
5off25pc

Seems to work on amazon fulfilled items.

It's just one-off £5 off £25, unsure if it can be used multiple times on an account. Seems item/s price needs to be £25 after VAT is removed.

Excludes books, baby products, digital products, gift cards, and shipping and handling charges.

Wish the moto g was in stock so that i can use this.

  • Is it one-off £5 off £25, or £5 off every £25 ?

    • +1

      it's just one-off £5 off £25

  • It is a shame shipping from Amazon UK is so expensive (compared to Amazon US). Amazon Germany has cheap shipping for heavy packages, but they are more expensive for small items.

Do the Amazon UK item prices include VAT? Tax is included in the price on other European Amazons, but is subtracted on the Payment page.

Amazon.co.uk items have VAT removed, also small items are reasonable cheap shipping (bundling is good)

    • Shipping used to be much cheaper for heavy items with Amazon UK — I think shipping used to be capped at GBP30 or so regardless of the weight or size, which is well under DHL's costs for really heavy items. The biggest item I had shipped for GBP30 was a rowing machine (heavy enough to need two people to carry it to my door). :P

In any case, I sometimes still find Amazon UK to be cheaper than the other EU Amazons (DE, IT, ES, FR) for certain things — I'd recommend checking them all out to compare prices. And yes, VAT is removed at the final stage of checkout just like the other EU Amazons. :)

      • iirc, shipping used to be free for Blu Rays & DVDs…..for any order over £20

  • How much does shipping to Australia usually cost for Amazon UK?

    • +1

It differs from item to item. Add it to your cart and find out.

Well on a bluray set such as Stargate Atlantis GBP 3.58 about 6.47AUD, on 3 of the above bundled sets say Bourne, mission Impossible and X-men around GBP 6.56 so about 11.86AUD

      • Cheers. So then basically this deal is just enough to cover shipping. Not bad.

I don't care. I want a free international shipping offer.

    • I think we can safely assume they are never coming back. Oh, those were the days….

I have actually contacted them with a lengthy business case on benefits of offering free shiping to au for small items of a certain value. They replied a lengthy reply explaining they see the potential and they will consider it. I did my best, wouldn't hurt to push for it a bit more.

Seems to work on pre-orders as long as you buy with another item. Ordered Sherlock Series 3 as I doubt it will be out here for ages and was going to order it anyway, along with a steelbook. Good one OP. Happy days.

    • I pre-ordered Sherlock series 1-3 on Blu-ray. The price came down to £24.00 since I'm shipping it to a UK address. I'm guessing with their pre-order price guarantee they'll take an extra £5.00 off the lowest price on release date (?)

  • Does it count the 25 pounds as before vat??

I added 25.5 pounds worth of stuff, then it took it down to 21GBP but wont apply the coupon.

    • +1

It seems it's got to be 25 after VAT.

      • yeah tried a few times, looks like it has to be 25 after VAT is removed.

  • Any idea when it ends? Pretty good deal - the original Transformers cartoon sets come down to half price compared to Aussie retail (JB and Big W)

"This Offer ends when all promotional codes are claimed or on December 16, 2013 at the latest."

Thanks, used to buy a pair of Sony XBA-H3 earphones.

If you're looking to get this, it's the cheapest in the world as they dropped the price again and plus the coupon. I paid ~$280 shipped.

  • Firefly bluray- 8.5 pounds (lowest is 7.73)
    Dremel 3000 (corded) - 29.98 pounds (was 25 yesterday)
Arrested developement s1-3 DVD - 13.25 pounds (best price)

  • Expired? Says "The promotional code you entered has expired." when I try to enter it at checkout

    • Same here. Had some stuff sitting in cart from earlier. Should have checked out then instead of waiting.

I can't believe I chose to finish work first rather than take advantage of the deal immediately. Hangs head in shame.

  • The promotional code you entered has expired.

    doh!
