how do you tell if they are fake or not?

might get a spare for my N7000 as well :)

the fake one i got didnt last a day, would suddenly drain from 80% to 30% in an hour with the screen off / phone not being used
i'm going to check the battery i get for usage times, i expect at least 12 hours on light usage.
also there is this you tube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZsslhzdoE0o&src_vid=gnzuL4X-N…

      • Sorry, didn't correctly. You're still waiting to get yours.

    • dont purchase the battery on ebay. too many fake products.

  • "with Samsung warranty from Unique Mobiles online"

I have these from the last sale. The battery life doesn't seem to be as good as the original in my s4. Maybe it'll get better with time. No original packaging with mine. But it looks the same.

    • battery in your S4 should be covered under warranty, it was posted on here before within the last month

  • I guess Note 2 N7105 (4G) can use the same battery of N7100?

    • Yep.

The price just seems too good to be genuine

    I don't believe it's genuine Samsung batteries.
Based on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 page:
"Our replacement batteries are 100% compatibility with your Samsung Galaxy Note 3*"
And the small print states: *Does not support NFC

I would think the genuine ones have NFC build in as the NFC chip is not on the phone.

"Our replacement batteries are 100% compatibility with your Samsung Galaxy Note 3*"

Therefore they are not 100% compatible.

    • They had this deal once or twice before. I haven't seen people confirming it's not genuine. Plus, For the note 2, the NFC chip was built on the back of the battery cover.

The batteries are not genuine if the seller says "these are 100% compatible with your device"

If the batteries are genuine, they will say "these are genuine Samsung batteries" (and even then they might be lying)

  • Have too many phones, therefore just bought a power pack instead.

  • Let's replace "compatible" with "fake" in the title. I'd personally be reluctant to pay that price for originals, let alone the fakes!

    • the mod edited the title to "compatible", there is nothing that i have seen on the site that indicates fakes. they claim samsung australia warranty on the batteries for the note

  • Not genuine products, bought from previous sale! returned and refunded

    • Thanks for feedback, can I ask what battery you boight and how did you identify as fake for reference, thanks

    • nvm found out

  • Buy it if you want your phone to be on "fire"

  • Do genuine samsung batteries ever drop in price?

Does anyone know a good place to get genuine samsung batteries? I've researched before and could only find full retail price, or discounted + postage = full retail price.

    • Do genuine samsung batteries ever drop in price?

no, not really. all the companies make the majority of there money on the accessories not on the fones generally. you might be lucky to find a shop that wants to get rid of genuine stuff at "end of life" but that happens rarely.

  • If its fake, is it still cheap for fakes, or can i get equivalent quality on ebay? I dont want fakes that dont work but i presume there are good fakes that are just like no frills batteries but are close to the power of the genuine batteries? Like 80-90%.

  • just received mine. these are fake. two battery have the same serial number and NFC doesnt work, not what is written in the description

  • I also ordered two. One looks just like what I comes with the phone I got from Vodafone. Has Chinese on it and was assembled in Vietnam. The other one looks different. It doesn’t have Chinese and was made in Korea.

I’d say at least one looks genuine to me. I also tried on an unprogramed NFC tag. Both battery recognised it and showed empty tag on the screen.

  • what batteries did you buy?
I just got mine for n7000 - weighs in at 41g, tha fake from ebay was 33g, the original was 48g
My wife is testing today, hopefully it will last the day
If anyone purchased n7000 battery can you post your serial number

    • Mines are for N7100.

I got 54g, 55g and 56g. Interestingly, the heaviest one is the one I got from UM. "The one looks just like what I comes with the phone I got from Vodafone. Has Chinese on it and was assembled in Vietnam. "
