  • what is the frenquncy? can't find it.

    how about the quolity?

    • The frequency is DECT which I think is 1.8mHz so it won't interfere with Wifi. What do you mean by quality? It's Uniden, so I'm sure as good as other "A" brands eg Panasonic

      • If you're going by the "DECT" in the title, I wouldn't trust that. Uniden make "XDECT" cordless phones too, DECT technology, but at 2.4GHz so it WILL interfere with WiFi. You have to read the product manual to be sure, and Uniden usually don't make it easy to find in the manual.

        • I own the Uniden DECT1635+2 and I'm using 2.4GHz wireless g+n without interference.

  • Bit of a peanut question.

Is it feasible to get these 4 and give 2 to someone else? Or is the main base station absolutely necessary. I kinda know the answer, but is there a way around it?

    • If you give away two handsets, what are they going to plug their phone cord into?

    • +1

You cannot use the satellite handsets without the base unit. The satellite base holders only have a power cable as they connect to your phone line via wireless through the basestation.

  • Damn! I live in a Studio Appt!

    • One for each corner?

      • You mean, one in each corner of the bed?

  • I bought the Uniden DECT1635+2 Cordless pack last week ie 3 phones. Can I buy this and extend it to 7 phones connected together??

  • Is this the same as Telstra 12350 DECT 6.0 quad pack? Got mine at Kmart $69 a while back.
