  Tab 3 was only $330 at GG the toher week, and $313 with o/w price match. Older model for $30 less doesn't seem like a bargain

  -re the Tab 2 10.1, if someone is set on a Samsung, then they are better off paying the extra to get the Tab 3 10.1

  I doubt Samsung cares enough to update, the Tab 2 10.1 to newer OS revisions.

  My father have tab 2 and I would say avoid it. Its really slow and has slugish performance.

  I bought this Tab 2 for $319 from Dicksmith at the start of the year and I regret it. So slow and laggy, and bad resolution. I prefer viewing media on my Note 3, and have no use for my Tab now

    Tried aldi tab in past, returned within a day. They are quite horrible to be honest, I'd imagine the 10" version not much better than the 8" one I tried.

    I think the extra memory and higher res screen makes it a better deal than the samsung one.

  Why would anyone buy a Tab 2 for $300 when a Tab 3 can usually be found for less than that?
