I think COTD post deals should be restricted to the older registered users or powerusers/mods.

    • so don't share a coupon code with the community if you are too young? WOW!

I think posts on OzBargain should be restricted for those usernames which have twice as many vowels as consonants

      • No not too young but it's that many new users seem to think COTD is a bargain that the deals are unheard of but it's once in a full moon we get a good deal from them.

        Don't believe me?

          This isn't a deal of a specific item. It's half-priced shipping.
Now I know what you meant.

I'm pretty sure you are able to hide COTD deals to stop them from appearing in your feed.

      • Don't think she's been here long enough to be familiar with such fancy trickery

  • Where on earth do you enter this? I looked at but still no sign of said link?

    • theres a link above the total amount at the checkout before going through to paypal or the like

      • Thanks, I nearly posted screenshots :/

They've got the older glitter Eneloops, 8 for $20 if people were keen. Regular postage is ~$8 for various places I tried, so after the discount they're only ~$24. Seems reasonable if anyone was after them.

PS - I think this is absolutely worth of a post, as the shipping price on COTD stuff usually kills the deal. Half price shipping is great, and has meant the difference between me ordering and not ordering in the past, more than once

  • Dunno if it's worth the money they're asking…but it's worth a look…
