False advertising as always. KFC should be made to have their promotional photo's/video, show the food how they serve it. For e.g. box of chips, pop-crap chicken, closed up. None of this Overfilled nonsense.
Everything should also be shrunk by ~33%, to better illustrate what you'll actually get for your money.

Maybe they're concerned about YOU getting fat and sick from eating too much of this garbage. Therefore restrict portion size.

I highly doubt they have anyone's health in mind, when considering their portion sizes. :)

Basically because the cans are a smaller size they take up another space in the fridge. Recent legislation enacted in QLD restricts the number of different sized beverages that a store can sell at any one time.

Can someone explain why on Earth QLD Resident's don't get the drink? I know lots of places sell a reg can of softdrink for $2 these days, we're arguably losing $1.50 worth of value. Seriously why, seems like some stupid Australian Tax, this time for QLDers.

This. KFC QLD is always a little more expensive than other states. Maybe instead of raising the price, they liked the ring of the name $5 Box and just got rid of the drink.

There is a KFC drive thru on Pacific Highway near Epping road off ramp that has hot and spicy all year round.
The smart thing to do would be for KFC to offer a drink for +$1. Extra income for them and a win for us.
