  • Does Plant-Based Whopper include veggie whopper?

    • I wonder if you can swap the plant patty for a real one

    • No

God, makes you wonder why they bother.

All these fast food outlets match prices to what their clientele can afford, plain and simple. I don't know why people keep buying this unhealthy, convenient garbage and complaining.

You CAN afford it, if you couldn't you'd stop buying it and cook some food yourself, for cheaper.

My theory is these specials are limit testing to find out the upper levels of what consumers are willing to pay

EDIT: I've revised my theory, surely they would just do that with their regular menu prices. HJ's is just trying to subtly/gradually increase profit margins and hoping us OzBargainers don't notice

    • Every business matches prices to what their customers will pay. Who intentionally undercharges and leaves money on the table?

  • Link only goes to the main page, where do they hide the vouchers?

Think you have to tap the orange word coupons in the description and it takes you there.

      • Ahhh, perfect, thank you! Not sure if I didn't spot that or if it was edited after.

  • Seems like they have got rid of deals on regular Whooper burgers for a long time :-(

    • Yeah it’s been so long since they had 2 whoppers or 2 bacon deluxe on the voucher. C’mon Hungrys

  • It’s not funny getting jacked that it’s normal to expect everything to be jacked up nowadays 😳😂

I appreciate your effort with the table, OP.
    ..Definitely don't appreciate HJ's effort!

I know it wouldn't make sense but I'd like if it had been corporatised and incorporated as many burgery/Hungry Jack's words as possible, something like

This is gold. I'll use this in future.

I don't get the cynical comments here. These prices are pretty good. Cheaper than their competitors.

As for raising prices, how many times have they done it since inflation kicked off? I don't remember prices being much lower than this

I know someone says this every time, but god I miss the days of $4.95 for two bacon deluxe’s or two whopper’s for $5.95. 2019 felt like only yesterday.

  • The only takeaway where I need to reheat it most times after just a few mins drive. I wonder if there are minimum regulations for burger food temps? These guys would fail big time.
