Wow! Might have to rethink my travel plans in the next couple of months. Does anyone know of a cheap way to get to Korea from KL? Or from Aus (MEL)? Am trying to goto Korea in July, would be great to use this deal.
can someone please confirm that air asia flies out of same airport as normal airlines.
They say there is a LCCT (low cost carrier terminal) at KL Intl Airport. Is it part of same airport or need to take a train/taxi etc?

LCCT in KL is the same airport but DIFFERENT TERMINAL to the KLIA Main terminal. Its about a 15-20 minutes taxi/shuttle between the two terminals. The Express Train does not service the LCCT, you need to take taxis or bus into KL.
Does this include airport taxes is that just $433 straight up, with carry on baggage to the UK cause that's a really great deal. I must be missing out on something here? I'm guessing you have to buy food though, a long plane journey, you'd surely starve if you didn't bring a sandwich or something.

Very nice. Can get Per-Lon return on dates suitable to me for about $AU1,000, albeit with 4+ hour stop-overs where you'd have to change the bags over from plane to plane yourself (which… hell, I dunno, might increase or decrease likelyhood of it getting lost).
Handy, since my sister lives in Sweden and that's generally a fairly cheap flight - maybe $400-$500 return.
Although I can get a direct flight on Malaysian Airlines, which is a good quality airline, for $2200. And not wasting an extra 12-24 hours each way and multiple complex transfers that could lead to severe itinerary issues should a single flight be late might be worth the $700 extra. Hmm.
