Hi - I had to cut out a bunch more routes due to the 50,000 character limit. If you click through the main link there are cheap fares departing Cairns and Darwin and more from Hobart and Adelaide.

    • +1

Thank you for your effort OP!

  • +3

    Good work op

Those return flights to Seoul and Hawaii from Sydney are looking like a steal at $999,999. Take the whole family.

Seriously though, there's some bargains to be had here.

    • +1

Sorry about that - fixed now.

Shame bogans have ruined Japan https://www.reddit.com/r/australia/s/jzh9WrrNpM

    • +4

Whilst this is true, there's still a lot of Japan that remains untouched by the bogans.

      • We been to hukaba for snowboarding a few times and 99.9% of aussies do the right thing but i have seen a few yobs on the slopes and in the town. Experienced much more boganism in NZ and Canada.

      • +2

also, it's not true. even Tokyo is a massive city and tourists generally stick to the same places. 95% of the city is free of them and has cool stuff

    • -3

      Reddit lol…

      • +4

        And?

        • -6

Reddit is a hivemind of terminally online users that have no sense of reality. Aussies are not "ruining Japan", stop being ridiculous.

    • Aussies are in general looked down upon as rednecks.

      • +2

I think that depends on how you present yourself.

    • +5

Yes, one stupid little video means japan is completely over run with bogans

      • +1

Not just one video. Cheap Jetstar flights are flying in bogans after bogans into Japan.

Unlike Bali, Japan hasn't traditionally relied on tourism for their economy. So don't expect the people to be as welcome of the bogan scum.

        • +3

I just got back from there and I didn’t see any “bogans”.

        • +1

          Not just one video.

You provided exactly one video. Do you think that bad behaviour didn't exist before the age of everyone filming themselves and posting it on the Internet?

Unlike Bali, Japan hasn't traditionally relied on tourism for their economy. So don't expect the people to be as welcome of the bogan scum

You obviously haven't been there then. Put down the Reddit and go outside. The world isn't as bad as social media makes out…

          • @1st-Amendment: Bro you're talking to a brick wall

These people spend all day to hate and only consider their own opinions as the truth lol

      • You do realise seeing white Australians doesn't automatically mean they're bogan. These "bogans" built the country everyone wants to flock to. And before you @me, no, I wasn't born here.

        • -6

Anti white cucks will neg but won’t retort.

    • +3

It's all fun and games until a bogan meets a Yakuza

My parents provided homestays for Japanese students in Perth. One of the students was a daughter of a Yakusa. The other Japanese students would make fun of her, by pretending to chop off their fingers.

My father (ex Kokoda Trail) had photographs of Japanese skeletons in trenches, with his contemporary comment scrawled on the back "a good Jap".

They all got on very well. My brother married one of these students. Several of these students came to my father's funeral.

    • +4

You do realise that Japan is a large country, right? It's more than just Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto.

Step outside of these areas, and I can assure you that Japan is not 'ruined'.

    • +1

Australians are a very minor part of Japanese tourism. Truly insignificant. I find the Chinese tourists far more annoying.

    • Wow, a Japanese Karen.

  • +1

    +1 for the effort

I'm looking to travel SYD <> PER between 27/12 and 03/01, they don't seem to be at that price though?

    • +3

For that time of the year they never will be.

    • +1

You never traveled in the Christmas/New Years period before?

      • +2

Yes, I know what to expect but I checked anyway since the dates WERE listed.

SYD to Perth Flights(iwantthatflight.com.au) one way for $165. Return $336(iwantthatflight.com.au).
        ….Travel: 03/May/2025 - 29/Jan/2026

I'll move my dates since as mentioned there will never be promos.

  • When does sale end?

    • Jetstar site says Monday

    • +1

I clicked on Brisbane to Sydney this morning and got

      This deal has finished

But don't worry. Here are the best prices we can find right now.

      More great deals coming soon!

Thanks OP, flights for the Metallica show in November for $58 return is just phenomenal

    • +2

Probably cheaper than the fuel (gimme fire, gimme that which I desire) I'll use driving in to the Telstra dome for it!

    • +1

Dang, can't miss them this time

but finding tickets to the show itself has been crazy!

      • Tixel?

  • I have been having my eyes for travelling SYD-MEL in early July but never on sale

    • Virgin have a sale on at the moment

  • Cheers op.. melb to cairns next jan..400 return for 2

  • Thanks gonna getem.

  • +2

I am now in Bali after taking a OW flight from MEL to DPS for $149 with JQ.

My ticket was bought on a Friday Frenzy Sale last November.

The flight was only 2/3 full.

  • +1

Doesn’t seem to work unless I’m missing something. $54 flights bne to mel show as $150+

  • +1

the prices arent the same when checkihg out, melb to Gold coast return 76 bucks in check out $128 strange.

  • Haven't checked the domestic flights myself, but for the listed prices, the international flights have no check-in allowance (only 1x7kg carry-on included in the prices).

I tried the Syd-Osaka flights myself. After selecting basic (1x20kg) luggage, the prices aren't that attractive anymore.

  • Are there any international flights from Sydney around the ~13th to the ~27th give or take a few days on either end that are cheap? Happy to go anywhere in Asia.

  • +2

can someone give 1 benefit to buying a ticket through this website as opposed to the main jetstar website, when the exact same "deal" exists there?

    • Same

  • looks like some are showing expired now

  • Cheaper to walk
