Thought this was pretty cheap, works out to just over $2 per movie.

Is there a VHS box set on sale too?
They have a few copies of Betamax left in store…
Wow! Right next to Batman park.
Yeah, 'cause the high quality sets and effects in the Freddy series definitely needs more definition than DVD.

They are really slashing the price.
Wow, looks like a dream sale. :)
It would be a nightmare if you miss this hot deal!
Don't fall asleep or you'll miss this deal!
Interesting - Normally I would skip past a bargain on DVD, not much point, but would a nightmare on elm street really benefit from Bluray. I cant imagine they took too much care in the transfer.
The featurette sounds good too.
Spoke too soon - The Bluray collection that has the same new featurette is only $24.95

Concerning stigma, I've found the opposite to be true; most older cult films seem to take great care with restoration. Maybe it's because the fans are so demanding/pedantic (who I count myself among, hence the username), I don't know. The Nightmare set done a pretty commendable effort in this respect. The DVD or BD would be worthy purchases.
I have sworn never to watch this movie again……
one, two…
tie your shoe,
three, four, pick up the floor…
Bloody hell - I remember when I imported this set from the US for $100, because none of these movies were released over here (well, one similar, but an actual BOX set, with a case for each movie etc).
Has anyone received theirs yet? I ordered mine the day I saw this deal but nothing's turned up yet…
