Convertible is not worth when a lot of Bay Trail convertible coming.
Resolution of 1366 x 768 is crap but for the price maybe
the resolution is a deal breaker for me.
I found that for that screen size it is OK. With full HD on 13.3" or 14" it is very hard to read on Windows Desktop.
series 5 is more expensive than series 9? why?
this Series 9 using samsung CPU which is not good. Series 5 is i5
"Samsung Quad-Core Processor"
so it is not intel's or amd's. samsung has own cpus?
Yes but they don't want to tell in the spec, just say Quad Core CPU.
From reviews, it's AMD processor… and reviews of the Series 9 (this is the Lite version) are not good and deemed as "overwhelmingly slow"… plus this version is not all metal like the other Series 9 but plastic… better avoid IMO

I personally find it hard to find the author credible.
A lot of claims, but no real data and enclosed benchmarking method to back it up.
"However, the Lite still only came in at about 50% the performance of similarly sized and priced Intel Core-based laptops." -> No specs comparison. No benchmark data.
A quick Wikipedia search points out that it may be an A6-1450 (based on Radeon HD 8250). Surely he can find a minute or to run HWiNFO?
Yeah it's probably slow, but the article can make do with less opinion and more facts.
It's with Samsung CPU, have no idea about it.
prefer an i5/i7 built in.
Since when does samsung make an x86/x64 compatible CPU? I thought AMD were the only one that was able to hold that licence..
Awesome price?
