iPod Touch Gen 5 32Gb is $289. Online seems to have sold out but it may still be available in a store near you. I got it price matched at Big W by calling them to take advantage of the Amex $50 rebate offer.

Thx, I registered prior to the expiry date. How does BigW price-match online? Did you get an online discount code to order online or simply pay on the phone?
I called and paid over the phone (1300 244 999). They link the order to your online BigW profile. They check the price at OW as they do not price match sale or clearance items and this didn't appear to be a On Sale item. The item was already out of stock at OW by the time she checked but maybe she didn't notice. As it appears that some OW stores have availability, worth a try.

use gift card only if you don't have the AMEX $50 off $250 promotion. I'm not sure if the link to online order like OP did will allow you to pay by gift card over the phone.
I don't know how you can get another 5% off at the same time when you pay by AMEX to get the AMEX $50 rebate. These 2 payment methods are mutually exclusive given the AMEX minimum spend is $250 which is $39 less than this iPod model. At most, you may get 5% on the $39 but not on the whole $289. Beside, during the price match with BigW, I believe you have to hand over your Wish Card number and PIN to a stranger who could use your Wish Card for online purcheses.
iPod Touch 5th Gen 16GB was $169/$168 @ DSE/OW last week (or if you price matched early enough: $159 @ OW).
Good deal for 32GB one though, since 32GB model is generally not discounted.
