you can get the 16GB from Amazon for $260 delivered and the 32Gb for $300 Delivered

    • Did you try? I think it's more than $270 if you take into account of postage + exchange +2% commission card issuer charges?

      • 28 degrees or citibank plus or bankwest platinum are your friends :)

  • Why is this a deal? Cheaper almost everywhere else.

Posted because I know some people prefer to buy it from Google play

why would you pay $300 for a 16Gb when you can get a 32Gb for the same price

And amazon customer service is exceptional too

Yep, bought tones of book from amazon. No prob, they always give me their warmest regard as well.

Joke aside, some people prefer Aus stock over US stock. I would probably go for the cheaper but i already have an old nexus.
I forgot you can claim gst from the austock which can make it around the same price.

          Gst back, price protection insurance

        • Because some people prefer Australian version over a grey import. Why would you buy this when you could get better deal from local brick and mortar store is better question? Why would you risk a grey import too for such a little saving? Actually some people have managed to buy local stock from brick and mortar for less than grey import.

        • not a grey import. Asus has worldwide warranty

        • Yes this isn't a Grey import, but still buy cheaper in brick and mortar store and have today.

Not sure about the Nexus 7, but with other devices such as the N4 it has been shipped from Singapore.

The warranty isn't so bad, but it means you can't claim TRS. (GST refund)

        • Oh really, well this deal sucks if that's the case.

        • yeh, i dont think google play posts the devices from Australia, they all come from their overseas warehouses . Correct me if im wrong

Why do we Aussies need to pay a higher price…so I'd encourage everyone to NOT give in to these companies and not buy from Google Play.

    • I managed to buy the 32GB Nexus 7 (2013) from both Good Guys and JB-HiFi for $249. (That's cheaper than the US price!)

      • Damn brah, that's an awesome deal!!

What's the odds of getting that again?

        • +1

Well I did manage to get that price from two different stores. I posted the receipt in the other thread, so others might be able to get Pricematch from their local retailer if you show them the image on your phone.

      • Just wondering if JB gave you a 2013 price matching TGG's 2012 for the price of $249 ?

        Really good buy, well done.

        • Nah, TGG sold me a 2013 as well.
