Hey guys, was just checking through my internet banking offers and found that you can get the McAfee Internet Security 6 months free thing through them as well.
You just need to login to your internet banking, click on "Offers & Apply" on the left side and then the "Other" tab across the top.
It will direct you to the McAfee website and you can sign up from there.
You also get 25% off renewals as well, if you decide to renew.
Fair enough. They all do that though, even if you have gone and bought it :-) Anyway, just thought I'd post it.

I switched to Outpost which removed the problem immediately
even superantispyware and spybot would not remove it

I used to run McAfee because at one stage work was using it corporately. Big mistake. In my experience it's not worth the price they're charging - $0. Had to rebuild a laptop after McAfee let through a virus which had been around for more than 18 months. I now use Kaspersky, which you can often pick up for a song, or at no cost.
By the way you'll invariably find much better offers around than a 25% off renewal discount. They regularly offer new customers much better deals.
