"….your kids 'MAY' like it!" Hmmmmm… at least they are being honest about not being sure. :)

    On further inspection:

"It can release pressure and arouse inspiration
It can bring endless joy to you"

I wanna get this for my dog to chase after. Or to chase the dog.. All depends how brave he's feeling.

  • $2.17?

  • It is tiny, smaller than you finger, and about the same price on ebay $1.53

  • +1

I've got one of these. You need to place it under the sun. It wont run using your electric lights/lamps

  • +1

Just bought one, ozbargain style. Don't know if I'll ever use it ;)

How exactly is this "Eco-friendly" ? To me it seams they're adding to pollution, wasting oil (plastic and transport) and energy to manufacture a $1 gimmick thats fun for 10 minutes. Don't buy if you take eco-friendly seriously

    • +3

the computer that you are using is made of oil and some toxic chemical too, so does your big a$$ TV. The meat you ate, the wheat you taste, the chewy you spit out … all involves oil in some way … What is your point ?

      • +3

His point is clear, it shouldn't be marketed as 'eco friendly' just because it is not battery/mains powered.

        • I don't think any product can be called 'eco friendly, but being solar powered is a perfectly valid reason to use the phrase on a product.
          http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eco_friendly

        • A bit like saying armed robbery is 'friendlier' than rape. Or is it the other way around?

        • you cracked me up LOL. This is the first time i see it.

    • +1

That's certainly not a reason to neg it.

This is why i didn't vote for the greens/labor…clueless

A big part of me wants to buy one hundred of these and set them going across a large multi-lane hwy during peak hour and see which one makes it to the other side, a la the music video for Prodigy - Voodoo people

  • +1

Thanks. Only let me order 1pc. But I don't even want it, yet $1.10 I couldn't help myself for the excitement of opening a package that is solar powered eco friendly fun

  • +2

These are awesome my daughter loves it, take the tyres off one side so it goes round in circles, surprisingly fast too

  • Ordered one to see what it looks like. Only a dollar anyway

  • The 2nd image: 世界上最小的小汽车 - The smallest car in the world, haha.
I might order one if it came with a remote, sign…

  • +3

What would have been eco-friendly was not manufacturing this crap in the first place.

    But thanks for the deal.

    • But if everyone stopped manufacturing "crap" (exciting toys), then there would be no "crap" (exciting toys) left in the world

  • Features:
    - It can release pressure and arouse inspiration

    Hmm…

  • Ordered one and got this emailed to me … is it safe to 'possess' the account ?

"Welcome to join us via paypal! If you want to possess the account, please use xxxxxxxxxx.com.au and initial password xxxxxxx to login next time."

    • Hi, where you see this words? On our site?

  • If I stick 500 of these together, can I make the worlds cheapest car?

    • +1

How would you ride on it without blocking out the sunlight?

  • So you only need to put it under the sunlight and it will run wild whatever way it like? Hmm the control freak in me refuse this…

PS. Can you give me your mail so that we can talk about this?

  • Yes, you can contact me when the colleague comes back. I will not post my email on here. Thank you

  • Ok thanks bg, yes, use that email.

  • I still haven't received my solar car. I have emailed on your site and no one has responded.

    Please advise?

    • +1. I haven't received mine yet. But it's common for these things to take a month to be delivered, however it's borderline now.

      Anyone received yet?

      • You reminded me that I had ordered one as well and I havent received mine either.

        • Hi, the delivery usually takes about 1 month go to your country. Some already get it but some still not. The dispatch to different parts of your county is also different.

Just wait, and it will come to you as a surprise. If still can't get it, just let me know.

  • It's been well over a month now, and I still have yet to receive anything.

Has anyone else been successful in getting what the paid for?

    • +1

I haven't got it either. The PayPal deadline for lodging disputes is 45 days, which is very very close to how long it has been, so I've logged a problem in PayPal's dispute resolution centre. Everyone else who bought and hasn't received it yet should probably do likewise.

  • I got mine today!

didn't realise it was so tiny! but thanks anyway

  • I got mine today finally, took it out the back and set it off and it went better than I was expecting. My dog though was scared of it at first, but then realised when he stood over it it stopped. So he did that, took the thing in his mouth and ran away with it. So it all but lasted 2-3 minutes :-P
