      To be expected as their top seller, the Model Y, is in-between models. No one is buying the old model as they are waiting for the new one.

      There's probably some anti-Musk sentiment causing this too, but I think it's mainly because of the Model Y refresh.

        Except its the Model 3 sales which has the refreshed model out already that's tanking. The Model Y sales are still going well due to the older models price drop (also probably because the new Model Y is gonna be so much more expensive comparatively)

          The refreshed 3 was being delivered to the first customers in late 23 early 24. That would have been a spike in sales (products typically sell most when they are new) so a year later it’s not surprising that the 3 hasn’t sold as many.

          This, and the aforementioned Y refresh, is why looking at monthly or even quarterly sales isn’t very useful. You need to zoom out and look at trends over years. Especially for companies with only a couple of products on the market.

          Look at Nintendo as another example. Switch sales have plummeted due to the announcement of the Switch 2. You wouldn’t look at recent sales data without that context and conclude that Nintendo are dying.

However the further from the centre you get, the more similar the policies end up being, therefore democracy, free speech etc end up being restricted in a similar way on either end of the extremes.

            You might want to check out the history of his mums family (re Nazi's). Also how quick he is to ban people from X that he doesn't like. He is no free speech champion.
