Cool, looks like it's back in stock! It was giving an out-of-stock message before.

        • Grab cheap SEX while you can!

      • You're back to post 1 minute later, huh? I hear that happens to guys sometimes.

  • Is Samsug 18.5 inch LED monitor any good?

    • Good for a small server hiding in the corner.

  • Hardly any good. If ur desperate for a cheap monitor may be worth it. Otherwise go full hd with hdmi

    • What would you recommend and why?

I was tempted until your comment but for that price, LED sounds pretty good.

I was thinking for DELL monitors for a while since they have good discounts all the time, what are your thoughts?

Oh and my primary use will be League of Legends and watching movies.

      Cheers!

    • Do you know if it's actually not any good, or did you base it solely on the fact that it's 768p and has DVI rather than HDMI?

Some people may want non full-HD, like myself, I have a 720p monitor and use it as a low overhead means for my Laptop to have dual monitor set-up and also play games at higher settings with high frame-rates. DVI/HDMI is a non-issue since you can use a $2 adaptor and this doesn't have speakers to make use of audio-in.

      • The low res is a con for some and a pro for others. I know some users who find that the high res screens make everything to small to see/read (and yes they are older users).

I agree with plmko about the laptop+gaming screen setup, it's what I used to do too.

For me the main issue would be matching the dpi between screens. For example, a dual screen setup of a 27" 2560x1600 screen and a 24" 1920x1080 screen is ok until you start moving windows or the mouse cursor from one to another as they become a different size on either.

  • I bet the Samsung model is very popular. I mean who doesn't like a 18.5" SEX1920X monitor?

    • And is the extra half an inch worth $20 more?

    • I'm more concerned about the "1920" part since it's a 1360x768 monitor…

  • We're sorry, an internal error occurred.
    cant access the site…

    • back up and running

  • I've got a really small table, is there a way i can just mount this onto the table and save some space? Either monitor would be fine, I'm using it for my second monitor which will only be playing movies and browsing whilst I game. I have a 13 inch and a 21inch and they barely fit on my 80-90cm table.

    • Brateck Dual 22" Desk Mount LCD Stand

This one has the advantage of clamping onto the desk and thus taking up next to zero desktop space. There are alternatives, occasionally they appear on OZB for around $30-40. I'm not sure if you were asking for a double or a single stand.

      • I'm not sure which would be better, I initially only thought about the secondary monitor being mounted. Is there any incentive to having both screens mounted? I feel like I only need one to save space and have my primary monitor on the table just for normality.

  • Expired, back to $121
