Hey rep, sorry to hound you but a Samsung Galaxy Note II 4G deal would be amazing! Thanks for continually providing great deals for ozbargainers.

    • +3

Wait for a couple of weeks. Once the Note 3 is announced, then some Note 2 deals may show up.

    • +2

What's best deal you can get for note 2?

      • Last week $499 delivered.

        • i think that deal from different seller.

      • +1

Yep, like cjb said, the best has been $499 delivered for AUS stock. But of course if Mobileciti can do even better, that would be awesome.

  • +3

hi, can u also do a deal for nokia 520 plzz, harvey norman had one few days ago for $134 but i missed out on that deal

    • +3

      I want this also

  • +7

You guys must have bought a LOAD of 8X stock to warrant an ad every week on ozbargain!

    • +4

LOL that phone has bounced around from deal to deal like some unwanted crazy aunt.

      • +1

Time to cut the price from $238 to $198…

        • +6

HTC 8x will not drop to $198 for least next 3 months, still good handset and most place still selling $300~500.

        • +3

Drop to $218 and see it flying out , 100s of sale. Waiting for golden price.

        • +1

REP, IF YOU DO IT I WILL BUY ONE RIGHT NOW :)

        • I doubt an extra $20 will make much of a difference. BTW, can you get free navigation yet like the nokia 920?

        • +3

Thanks for your suggestion, We can't do $218 due to best price in the market and already below our cost.

        • Nav has been available since Jan

        • If you do a search online there's a workaround to download any manufacturer specific apps for any phone. It requires a bit of fiddling around, but it can be done. :)

        • HERE maps are available, but not navigation.

  • I've been waiting for this offer and Actually I was accepted the price for HTC 8X to be under $200 this time , But still the same as the last week!
I will hold on maybe uniquemobiles tomorrow will do better price!

    • +2

You can try email UM see if they can match the price.

      • We can also refund you the different if can found same product selling cheaper in elsewhere or cancel the order.

  • I am waiting the better price for 8x. maybe we can do a group deal.

    • If there's a 8X group deal for 199 I'm in or a 238 Nokia 820, I'm in that!

      • I still don't get why ppl are willing to spends more one the 820 than the 8x?

        • 820 offers removable battery, MicroSD slot, Nokia exclusive apps, HD microphone, and a better quality 8MP shooter. The only thing the 8X offers that is (arguably) better, is the fact the screen is 720p. But then again, the 820 has the better AMOLED with ClearBlack screen which pairs nicely with the OS.

        • Both have bad camera.

  • +1

    Great! Just bought one. :)

Edit: Looks like the Ativ S is sold out now.

    • Thanks!

confirm more stock coming, should be ok to order now.

  • any deal for Nokia 820
    close to the 8X????

  • Same here, very keen on the Nokia 820

  • +2

Was wondering why the 8X was up for sale again.Wasnt it $248 last time? :P

  • Hi Rep, what's the delivery time to Brisbane metro (free post)? Is PO Box address ok?

    • Free Shipping will take 3~7 working date, PO Box is Ok.

  • very keen on the Nokia 820 as well

    • +1
      • Can you still do the 820 for that price? Cheers

  • Good seeing the Windows Phone love, mobileciti! I'd purchase something if I didn't already have a Lumia 820…

  • Rep no love For Nokia 520 :(

    • HN had these down to $134.40 last week. I take it you missed out.

TBH, I prefer android to WP8. WP8 is nice but the app selection/availability (at least the few I'm after) and the fact that we can't put one touch widgets on the home page does make it less user friendly.

      • I wouldn't say lack of widgets make it less friendly - it's just a different way you have to use the phone. Doesn't make it harder or worse (unless opening the app is harder).

The app catalogue does fall quite short though - and even when there is an app, it's seldom updated/supporter and not at all as polished as the ones on iOS and Android (cough, *cough My Fitness Pal app)

I'll be going back to Android once the SGNIII comes out.

      • yehh i missed out , by the time i finished work and reached store it was closed :(, looking for a good deal for 520, its a pretty good budget phone

  • Any comments about which of the 3 is best? whats the Samsung like?

Thinking of updating my HTC HD7, which is very average quality so keen to try other than HTC.

    • I would go for the 820, then the 8x, then the Samsung.

Having Nokia apps (particularly maps) makes a lot of difference especially with a Windows phone that doesnt have a huge amount of app support.

The 820 is much the same under the hood as the 920, which not so long ago was the best phone on the market. For $268 you're getting a pretty solid phone. Plus having removable battery and sd slot means that it is reasonably future proof.

Admittedly, the battery itself is not huge and wont get you much more than a day of average use.

How about the Lumia 920 or 925?
Any chance you guys will be posting a deal.. Say like the one when click Frenzy was on?
Kicking myself of missing that deal

    • +1

      I agree lotusbliss.
Any special deals for the Lumia 920 Rep?

  • If you're going for a Windows Phone, out of the 3 listed, definitely go the 820. Nokia for Windows Phone are by far the best.

  • .

  • Any chance of a deal on SGS3 i9305?

  • I'd be interested in a Note 2 deal as well if you can give one but yerh just wait for the announcement of the Note 3 and wait a few more weeks and it'll hopefully drop then
