Hey I'm going to this game. No event cinema in Victoria!

Turns out its a promo code is all I need! Signed up, saved some coins for beers! Thanks OP

    • Fiancé printed out the tickets, around $50 saving. Took 2.

  • If you're a Richmond or Essendon member for 2013, all you have to do is show your membership card & you'll get in free.

  • I hope this wont be ended like the voice ticket last time…

I think the tickets should cost "a gold coin" or something.

a] it allows me to rib my NRL mates, where the only way newcastle can fill the stadium is shipping in people from the mines and give them free tickets
b] people wont take 4 or more tickets and late comers from getting a ticket, only to not show on the day.

Perhaps we can start a forum thread where people return unwanted tickets?

    • Am I correct that AFL games at ANZ stadium get free public transport, but matches at Skoda do not?

    • Gold coin? No. The drink prices make up for free entry….. Maybe if they had a nominated charity..

People can take the 4 tickets, it's not like it will sell out.

    • You do realise that at the Newcastle game there were 5000 free tickets given to the mining community the crowd was 27,000.

And at work for the past two season we have been offered as many FREE tickets as we want to see the "western" Sydney afl team and I can honestly say not one person in my department has used any tickets there are 20 people in my department and that's 20 NRL supporters but two of them like the Swans and one goes for a team in Melbourne (the name of the team escapes me).

Basically no one in Sydney gives a stuff about the Giants and I hope they never win a game lol.

      • Yep. Exactly my point to my NRL loving friends. Formed in 1988, surrounded by a huge catchment area of potential fans, currently 7th on the ladder, playing 3rd/4th and they still had to give away 1/6th of all the tickets. If cashed up miners on a sunny afternoon don't have cash to splash, then who do?

        Bart Simpson: jab-jab-jab!
Male EPA Worker: Hey! Jab one more eye and it's a federal crime!

  • Owwww my ears

    Giants??

Oh, it's that newish team in Sydney's west.

Love my footy - can you tell?

    • Should be called midgets!! yep afl taking over lol.

      • They are never going to do well if they don't have at least one "marquee" player. You cannot just build a team of juniors and expect instant success. They will take at least 5 years to mature and even then there is no guarantee these juniors will be superstars down the track.

Look at Gold Coast Suns and the difference a marquee player makes!!!

    • Love my footy…

Particularly how all the big guys get buck naked in a hot tub together after a match.

Team bonding is critical in footy if you want to be a winner, IMHO.

  • bought these tickets and cannot find them in my ticketmaster account to print? anyone else?

    • same problem. Please post if you find a solution.

      • Its too late now but I had the same problem. I couldnt see the tickets in Internet explorer. but then I opened it with Mozilla and it worked.

  • It is not possible, seems like you are supposed to get them from within the giants account. I am logged in, go to the event, but under "select action" no action can be selected, nor can you select the seat numbers. Customer service is closed. looks like they wont be having anyone turn up unless they get this fixed ASAP.

I received an order confirmation by email when I originally ordered. It has seats listed. However I can't actually get these TicketFast tickets. So I'm just going to show up with my invoice at the Day Office at gate D and ask for my tickets. If you see somebody around gate D making a scene - that'd be me.

      • will be doing the same mate

My tickets worked 100%. What an awesome smaller venue, direct trains, food choices endless, seating great.

The beer did run out around 3/4 time ;(

  • Woeful game I left after half time. Did not buy any food as it was overpriced.

    • It's always overpriced, but compare this to an afl game in melb it's quite reasonable. Beer was $2 cheaper a pot at Skoda., and ice cold.
