  • I dunno if I'd call $69 cheap; seems a pretty average price for a 1TB external drive, particularly one which is only USB 2.0.

  • The WD 500gb 2.5 is only $55

Never again. Worst company i have ever had to deal with.

At least it's not the 2TB Buffalo deal which gets posted every few days.

        Shopping Express.

    • Is it 7200rpm? Free postage? What is the drive inside?

    • I can only find this on their site.

Any help with a link to the offer you're talking about? Thanks mate.

      • that was the one i am talking about, but the deal finish, you are 11 hours too late

  • Never heard of Buffalo brand before. What happened to Quantum and Maxtor?

    • +1

Buffalo is big in Japan I have a nas router and a few drives its well made and more reliable than the WD drives I have owned.

    • +1

Quantum got bought out by Maxtor in 2001, who subsequently got bought out by seagate (who i'm sure you've heard of) in 2006

  • just want to say it's funny to see $10 more will give you 500Gb more
