Can get this for 101 - 20 (studentbeans) on logitech ebay
$81 is a good deal. 👍
Enroll in uni, grab a edu email and enroll out. Totally worth 20 bucks
Studentbeans code doesn't seem to work on the logitech ebay store? Only option available seems to be Bing Lee ($119+6) or The Gamesbmen ($159) before discount
This doesn’t seem to show for studentbeans, are you able to please confirm?
It worked 16 hours ago when I bought one for my kid. It didn't work when I was trying to do it on my phone. Worked fine on desktop tho (I think clicking through wasn't working properly on phone).
/edit just tried then and it worked
If you don’t have two of these by now, just grab one or two!!! Best mouse.
XL version of this would be my dream mouse.
Hey Logitech, got any decent leftie mice yet?
No?
Awww.
Was getting a bit of wrist pain using a Logitech M720 Triathlon mouse, swapped over to one of these at Xmas and it's been great.
a good mouse with a few niggling issues from my experience.
Both Bluetooth and 2.4ghz receiver have very poor range, anything over 400mm away results in spotty, stuttering usage. recommend factoring in a USB-A extension cable in the total price to remedy this by bringing the 2.4 receiver much closer.
Bluetooth mode goes to sleep very fast if not moved for around 10 or so seconds. Probably a power conservation feature, but its very frustrating as the mouse doesn't respond for 1-2 seconds when you go to move it again.
No wired mode, so doesnt work on some systems in BIOS etc, particularly a pain if you havent previously paired the mouse to receiver and need to do some troubleshooting
not great for gaming, not sure why, maybe polling rate, dpi, or sensor type.
4: I found it laggy for simple office tasks, and using this after coming from a 56g gaming mouse, it felt like a brick. I ended up returning mine and going back to my Triathlon for office. Your issues are widely reported and thanks for posting them here, because I'm sure a few people would buy this thinking it'd be a good all-rounder due to how popular it is, but it's far from it IMO.
most definitely. I was one of those people that thought you cant go wrong with a premium logitech device
- Never noticed. One of mine is 1.5 metres away. Via BT.
- Never noticed. Use bolt receiver?
- Just ensure bolt receiver is paired when you get it. Or use one of the 20 wired mice you have at home. :-) or use one of the Ozbargain devices you have lying around to pair it. I did that the other day when I actually turned off Bluetooth on my PC.
- Not a pro gamer but can understand why wired is better here. Bolt would be better than BT.
It's the polling rate. It's 125 Hz, which is 1/8 of your regular gaming mouse (incl modern wireless ones). If you're used to something faster, 125 Hz feels mushy, even on the desktop. If you've never known better, then it probably feels "fine".
I have yet to do some comparisons, but I find the on screen pointer movement is a little jarring to look at, like its operating at 20 fps. Could be the mouse, could be windows. not sure until I've tested and compared to other premium devices
Yeah, it's getting position updates less often and they're taking longer to come through. Bluetooth will introduce additional latency.
I don't get why they don't provide the option to switch polling rates in the driver. Like it's a good sensor and Logitech has all the know-how. Let the people who can't feel it get the best battery life and let their power users decide for themselves.
I like the anywhere ms more
You can get Officeworks to price beat this. I just switched to a 3S from a 3 because the rubber has degraded. I find the soft click of the 3S to be less than ideal compared to the 3 which had a much more solid click. I hope they have addressed the rubber degrading issue with the 3S.
Hope so. My MX 1 rotted badly
I bought one a week ago, I haven't really tried it with games but it doesn't seem ideal. But for office and general computer use its excellent, hyper scrolling and the side wheel for skipping through tabs is very convenient.
It’s a normal price, check last few deals
