  I just saw your post on my recent thread.

  For your usage (HD Editing) I would advise not to go with this machine due the low display resolution.

  In regards to your other question, yes it does overheat pretty badly.

    Yes… but not for gaming, this has better graphics card and haswell processor = better battery life

    You should be able to within 14 days however in my experience the staff at JB will try everything they can to prevent you from returning it.

    Honestly I would just avoid HP and go with something else.

    Before purchasing ask them if it heats up a lot during normal usage. They'll probably say it's not an issue in order to score a sale. If it does overheat, now you have a legit reason to return it
