Better for who? You? A 1-2 person order? I would agree if you are only spending around $20- $40ish in total.
"Much better value" only if it's much less than a $50 order - over $50 you will get more value out of 10% off. Eg. If a delivery order costs for example $60, $70, $100… then the saving is higher than your $5.
[$60 = $6 off, $70 = $7 off and a $100 order would get $10 off and so on]
People with families or large groups, parties etc who are ordering up big will be better off with this.
On top of that this code may be used more than once, saving you more $$ again - whereas those $5 off codes are usually once only and often apply for new customers only.
So, do you actually know of a current $5 off code for Menulog or are you "just sayin" ?
Yeah sucks, that menulog no longer does the $5 off orders, as most delivery orders are $20 minimum making $5 a good saving.But there is almost always a 10% off orders since the 10% discounts started.
