i had a "16GB" one not from that site not sure where the wife bought it.. anywayz i found out later it was a fake.. it was about as fast as you mentioned.. when i got the Manufacturers tools i found out it was only a 1GB stick and it was completely wrong controller chip inside..
These drive have pretty poor performance for "USB 3.0 compatible" drives.
Source: here and I bought a 16gb one (through an OzBargain deal no less) a couple of months ago, and have seen first hand how average these are.Are you a rep?
These prices are terrible, I got my 16GB usb drives from flingshot for 8 or 9 dollars deliveredAnd I picked up some road kill for dinner instead of buying the KFC Tuesday deal.
I very much doubt Flingshot made any money on those drives. I'm not saying this is a good deal at all, but you can't compare a normal kind of offer with a business building loss leader.
Why not? If they are regulary available deals, which Fligshot ones are, I think they are very comparable.
I have the 32gb version of this (bought from COTD) and I can confirm it is v slow. If you need big storage it is isnt bad for the money but it will be slow
I'm not a Rep.

Pretty crummy reviews. Looks like it's just a USB2 type device with a USB3 interface… more "1 star" negative reviews than anything else!
5 - 10 Megabytes / second speed? I'll pass on that….
