Newsgroup Direct is having an extended Happy Hour sale which finishes at 3 pm Brisbane time Saturday 3 August.

They are also having an extended sale on their 500 GB blocks which finishes 3 pm Brisbane time Wednesday 7 August.

These sales do come around fairly often but if you're running out of usenet then it might be good to top up.

One exciting new feature of these blocks is that they are now sharable, so you and a mate can use it at the same time then get into a fight about who used it all up.

    these sales are common :)

    Blocks must always be "sharable"
    quota consumed is consumed no matter who uses it

    Is this $65 for a year? So could you use this as say a back up of a media HDD incase ur HDD crashes then you don't lose the vid's/movies & can download to a new hdd if needed.

      No… Newsgroup is to search and download 'news' and stuff… Not to backup your data on the cloud…

      To backup data on the cloud you should try other cloud app (eg. Crashplan/dropbox)
