      large tablets like these are usually intended to stay at home.
      But you can add a USB dongle or phone tether. I expect it can use an external BT GPS?

      the poor battery life is more of an issue - 3 hrs claimed. how many really?
      And the battery quality may be a big issue in a few months.

      But its cheap, even given the low screen res.
      Will it run Cyanogenmod?

      I didn't say it, but that's why I resisted too :) That and the poor battery life making tethering an unrealistic proposition.

      Not that one can expect a whole lot more at this price point.

    It's language like this that makes you question the quality of the product.

      Pretty well all manufacturers use that terminology these days, even the "name" brands (who also seem to abuse it most).

      Actually they have done a very good job of listing features and specs, if you open the link. They even list all the models of supported 3G dongles, which happens to be fairly extensive, for a budget tablet.

      And 3 hours battery life for a larger screen tablet isn't bad (nor is it good), it's quite average. You likely won't do better at that price-point anyhow.
