  • Good savings if you add in the fuel discount.

The fuel price never affects me, as I always just put $10 in. ;)

or someone who loves visiting petrol stations…
Unless you are financially challenged and dont have the money to fill up (or are short filling to get you to the next 'low' in a cycle) i dont know why you would just put in 6-7 litres and have to do that 7-10 times rather than filling completely once..

        • Or someone with a motorcycle

        • not many bikes only have a 6-7 litre tank…
With the price of petrol at the moment, its closer to a $20 fill (speaking from street triple experience)

  • Filling up maybe 50L on average would make the discount worth $10, effectively making the drinks cost $30 or 50c per can. A pretty decent deal if you want the coke since the price doesn't get that low (for the 375ml cans) too often.

    • or you could just wait to the fuel price comes down a bit more?

      • and then save even more.

      • Of course you don't have to use it now, the 50L fill and 20c discount are invariable so it's worth $10 whenever you use it :)

dont get confused and then…fill your car with the coke tho!

Usually, most people have a 4 cent discount on their card anyway, leaving a true $8 "discount" on a 50 litre fill.

  • I noticed on the way home that Woollies and Coles are selling ULP at $1.58c and independents are selling it at $1.44c, so not sure why this is a bargain??

thankyou for your overwhelming sample size of 1

conversely, around here the price is cheaper at the Woolworth's branded Caltex than the independent and non-Woolworth's caltex

      • thankyou for your overwhelming sample size of 1

every independent petrol station along the entire length of Bell St was selling ULP at around $1.44 to $1.46. All the Shell and Caltex were $1.58… Coincidence? I think not…

And the date of the catalogue is? I think you'll find it's very old.

    • +2

its actually for the 31/07/13… so I dont understand why you neggin the deal for "being old"

      • My apologies then, neg removed. I checked WW online and google and nothing was thrown up anywhere so I presume it's in next weeks catalogue.

        • No problems…. apologies excepted
