  • Nice 1st post Emerson. A bit of research, lots of detail, genuine bargains. I give you an A+.

    • Thanks Michael

  • so the lowest fare from melb to kl is $190 ? (tax inc)

    • i didnt actually look at tickets FROM aust to KL, this post is more about cheap tickets from Malaysia to other destinations

  • Cheap fares are mainly from KL to Melbourne (one way or return) but when you depart from Melbourne it doubles the fare! And also, some days are cheaper by 75% than others but you really have to search and there is no function to search by cheapest flight…

    • +1

While it's true that there is no function to search by cheapest flight, there is http://www.airasiaplus.com which will give you flight costs for the date you choose, plus the next two weeks to help you find the cheapest flight around the time you want to travel.
Admittedly you can't book tickets direct from airasiaplus, but its easy enough to switch between tabs on most browsers these days.

/edit also you will have to do a seperate search for each leg of the trip

  • I can find the sale tickets for KL to SG but I can't find any for KL to HK!

    • think they were the first to go, i booked a few last night, HK were more than double any other flight.

      • HK is always very hard to get. Not only is it limited to certain days of the week its very small allocation as well (and popular route).
