      IMO, no it isn't. you can get the paint tray for a few $, an extension pole for another $10, a few brushes and rollers and you're at the same price, probably less.

    after just painting my house, read this and thought the same not much of a bargain

    brushes can be had for a couple of $$$$ the only expensive thing is the sheepskin roller but you can get good quality rollers for around the $10 mark from paint stores

      I very much doubt you'd be saying that if you'd used those ones to paint your house.

      It's well worth buying decent quality brushes for anything other than very small painting jobs. Look after them well and they will last for a long time.
