      I think 10% discount offer usually happens several times in a year.

      Better to wait for 10% disc, $95. Only $4 diff, better to buy the new one :)

      I think the best recorded discount in OzBargain for Apple product is 15% off?

    Such a bad time to buy an iMac or a 15" MBP - wait until the Haswell chips, then balance the increased price of the new offerings .vs. the current, and then dropping, price of the current models. Unless you need it now :-)

      With our $ dropping like 10%. I doubt the new Haswell offering will be same price and the existing line dropping.I think the current will remain same price and the new editions go up by 10%. Now hoping the haswell be worth the increase.

      Really depends on how well of a relationship you have with the sales person and if you ask nicely enough.

      I've gotten 10% off BTO through Myer and JB Hifi in the past. The most recent was the 2012 i7 iMac.

    Dick Smith are currently doing a 10% off Apple computers with a free Apple TV!
    According to the sales rep the offer is ending cob 19/7/2013.
    I wonder if this is in response to the JB offer.

    Apple will only price match, they will not flat give a 10% discount for anyone who asks.

    BTO's (CTO is proper name) most people won't discount without further incentive from the shopper. It puts a strain on the ordering system as the retailers buyer has to authorise a sale that most companies are putting through at close to cost (or sometimes below).

    Audiophilia - where did you hear about Dick Smith having free Apple Tv with Mac. Can see they are 10% off but no free Apple TV. Even rang help line and they were totally useless.
