Spend $30 = 16c Coles Express Discount @ Coles Stud Park VIC Only

210

Condition of use:

Take an original flyer at Coles Stud Park VIC

Spend $30

Get 16c discount.

Suggest use self service checkout so no need to surrender coupon and reuse flyer.

Flyer must be original although I don't know if it works if printed or photocopied.

Enjoy people!

Edit 1: The original flyer can be taken from the Coles Stud Park (VIC) at returns (or cigarattes) counter (back page). Use this when paying using self-serve just before payment method selection. Keep the flyer for future use until next Wednesday Tuesday. I would personally stock up 16c but will last for many weeks.

    • wow that's a great deal..wish I receive the same offer :)

      • Is this a newsletter you signed up before or something more?

        • sorry guys but its been pointed out to me by other posters that this deal is specific to each person and I have no idea what they have to spend to get it.

    • I got:
      30c for $100
      35c for $110
      40c for $120
which will be enough to decide which supermarket gets the shop this week…

  • As I have experienced before, although you go through self checkouts, you'd still need the assistant's approval for barcode coupons. Though I'm not quite sure whether a shop assistant would approve it or not, photocopies of barcodes do work, even a smartphone screen would work.

  • I just received an email for:

    30c for $130 35c for $140 40c for $150

I bet Woolies will bring out something new tomorrow.

  • 30c for $140 35c for $150 40c for $160 for me - Not Happy Jan.

  • oh where did you find this coupon? Would be handy to have the original as a backup if possible!

    • are u referring to the op voucher? stud park Coles.the voucher if using self serve could potentially be perpetual 16c disc provided u spend $30.

  • This seems to be a campaign targeting some customers..not sure if it should be posted here.

I got an offer to activate for 30/35/40 cents (spend $100/$110/$120) personally as well from Coles..

  • How do I get this in my email?

  • All the register operators have copies of these, you just need to remind them if they forget to scan it, you don't need to print this or photocopy it or suurender it from experience. Self service operator has a copy too, if you ask her she will scan it.

  • I think I got the worst offer. Spend $180 to get 30 cents, $190 to get 35 cents and a whopping $200 for 40 cents off a litre. Definitely targeted deals for Flybuys customers based on spend patterns.

  • wow different people got different deals but remember the stud park offer is perpetual until next Wednesday.

  • I got 20c for $50, 25c for $60 and 30c for $70!

    • that's very good… I guess I need to check my email tonight. I only posted the original deal on the way to interview so have no idea if any better deal around.

  • I got ripped, spend $240 for 20c , $250 for 25, and $260 for 30c

    • Wow thats the worse I seen.. I guess you shop at least weekly with Coles and spend on average $200 each time?

      • Yep , 6 mouths to feed.

  • +2

  • I think I might send an email as this is not fair, they are not rewarding us faithful Coles shoppers when I see these other deals . I think they have just made me rethink where I shop.

    • +1

Well although what you say is true, it depends on which way you look at it..
They are trying to generate a bit more turnover so they are studying our spending habits.
If they say to me I have to spend $200 to get a 30c fuel voucher, forget it. It wont happen. Its out of my budget and I dont need to spend $200 on food and grocery. You on the other hand its not a problem. You spend it anyway so there is no increase for them and they are just gonna lose money on the petrol.

By looking at our pending habits they know they can squeeze and extra $50 from you by asking for $250 spend and an extra $30 from me by asking for a $120 spend. I think its quite a smart promotion.

But yes I can see where people would think hey I spend $200 a week and this guy getting a better deal who spends only $60 a week. Maybe lodge a complaint but dont just change you shopping to somewhere else where you might be paying more or have less quality food/service.

      • That's allright. Woolies is just down the road. I see where your coming from thou.

        • But I am a coles shareholder!!

edit: actually I got more Woolies shares… Yer Coles is crap.. go down the road!!

  • no email for me :(

  • OP can you just clarify that you pick these up from Coles itself at Stud Park shopping centre? Thanks

  • +1

    Email for me

    $70 = 20c
    $80 = 25c
    $90 = 30c

    July 18 to 21

I think I prefer 16c for $30 as it's only 4c differential but double the purchases required.

But what this may also mean is the fuel price is going to be elevated (ie: shorter discount cycle) for a while longer…. :-(

    • Mine is the same as yours.

  • I think i'm one of the poor performers:

    $70 = 8c
    $80 = 10c
    $90 = 12c

  • Thanks OP, staff were more than happy to put my shopping through in $30 multiples. The expiry date on my voucher was 14th August 2013.

  • Further discussion of the targeted discount emails here: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/110557

  • These days I can't tell when is the best time to refuel because the prices are so volatile now, it's impossible to know what is the lowest price before it goes up. Anyone got a ballpark?

    • The fact that Coles is having targeted email promo and this coupon may indicate they are going to hold the price at higher end for a while longer….

      IMHO.
